
Weasel Moot XVI – FtF Moot is BACK!
The 16th edition of the Windy City Weasels’ signature tournament, the Weasel Moot, will take place Saturday, September 24th and Sunday, September 25th, 2022! All details can be found on the Moot website. Where to go Weasel Moot XVI will be hosted at the Hyatt Place Chicago/Downtown-The Loop at 28 N. Franklin St., Chicago, IL 60606. This hotel is in the heart of downtown Chicago near the Willis (Sears) Tower, Lyric Opera House, and Millennium Park. We recommend using Public Transportation when possible. The Washington/Wells CTA L Train stop is one block from the hotel. CTA buses run within blocks of the hotel.

Weasel Face-To-Face Is Back! (February House Game)
The Windy City Weasels resume Face-To-Face play on Saturday, February 5th! Katie Gray and Zachary Moore, two of the hobby’s most prolific players will be in attendance and we want to give them a proper Weasel welcome! Austria’s late control sealed the board top
While halfway around the world, Rony Mordvinov gained nearly half the total points of the July Red Wednesday game in a last-season unfulfilled promise to rival Cori Neslund’s Germany. Both powers grew relatively consistently throughout the game, with Neslund’s Germany slightly, but consistently outpacing JJ Raymond’s England. Running to the end, rumors swirled around the board that an Austro-German alliance sealed up a shared board top. However, rumored support for the German’s potential 12th center failed to materialize in the game’s last turn leaving Mordvinov’s Austria as the sole board topper. Check out all the moves here.
