Our return to in-person play continued on a late November evening at the Green Post, with a brand new Weasel, Robert Griffin, playing his first ever Diplomacy game, and Ethan Stocking-Anderson playing in-person for the first time, having joined us for some virtual games previously. The 17th edition of the Windy City Weasels’ signature tournament, the Weasel Moot, will take place Saturday, September 30th and Sunday, October 1, 2023! All details can be found on the Moot website. In our first game back at our longtime Rockwell St location, now under new management and rebranded as the Green Post, Ray Maseman took a late lead in a tightly fought contest. Old-timers Mick Johnson, Brandon Fogel, and Matt Sundstrom could do nothing but fight each other in the east, while in the west brand new Weasels, Frank Herman, Jens Forsgård, and Tony Riedel enjoyed a cyclone of mistrust and broken promises.
