The 16th edition of the Windy City Weasels’ signature tournament, the Weasel Moot, will take place Saturday, September 24th and Sunday, September 25th, 2022!

Where to go
Weasel Moot XVI will be hosted at the Hyatt Place Chicago/Downtown-The Loop at 28 N. Franklin St., Chicago, IL 60606. This hotel is in the heart of downtown Chicago near the Willis (Sears) Tower, Lyric Opera House, and Millennium Park.
- Directions from Chicago – O’Hare International Airport (ORD): Take the CTA Blue Line Train from O’Hare to the Washington Stop and walk west on Washington for 4 blocks.
- Directions from Chicago Midway (MDW): Take the CTA Orange Line Train from Midway to the Washington/Wells Stop and walk west on Washington for 1 block.
- Parking: Hyatt Place Chicago offers “Self-Parking” with unlimited in-and-out privileges for $50 a day. There may be cheaper options through parking services such as SpotHero.
Where to stay
Hotel: We have a room block at the gaming location. King and double queen rooms are $179/night. Breakfast is included. This is an extremely low price for downtown Chicago. Payment is due at check-in.

When to be there
Pre-Tournament Social: On Friday, September 23rd at 8:00 PM we will meet up prior to gaming. Details will be coming soon.
Round 1: Saturday, September 24th, 9:00am (registration closes at 8:45am). No end time. Lunch is likely provided. Yay!
Round 2: Saturday, September 24th, 6:00pm (registration closes at 5:45pm). No end time. No dinner will be provided.
Round 3: Sunday, September 25th, 9:00am (registration closes at 8:45am). Round will end between 2pm and 4pm. Lunch is likely provided. Yay!
Awards: Sunday, September 24th, 15 minutes after the end of Round 3 (followed by a group dinner at a local restaurant to be determined).
After Tournament Group Dinner: Sunday, September 25th we will have a group dinner for those with later flights or those not returning home on Sunday. Details will be coming soon.
How the tournament will work
All games will be scored using the Open Tribute scoring system, and players will be ranked by the sum of their scores. Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers and the top single-game scorer for each country. The official rules will be posted on the Moot website.
What you don’t know can hurt you
