The Western Triple is usually said to benefit Turkey in the East and that is what happened in Game 424. Sabi as Turkey, while truthful most of the game I am sure, snookered Chris B in Russia in Fall 1901 to assist Austria into RUM, however turned on the Austrian ally in 1902. However, the punch did not land as a failed convoy cost the Turk progress even while Italy pushed East. That attack quickly turned around when France pushed south, so Sabi bided time to walk into a win at the end of the game.
