CODCon goes to 11!

CodCon 11 has happened! Click here for results.

The CODCon Open, the event that put tournament Diplomacy back on Chicago’s map, returns for an 11th installment, April 8-9 at the College of DuPage in west suburban Glen Ellyn. Join us as we renew this fun annual tradition.

When: April 8-9, 2017.
Where: College of DuPage’s Student Resource Center, 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. (Exact room in the SRC to be determined.)
What: A three-round Sum of Squares Diplomacy tournament. Best two rounds count for score. It only takes one round to be eligible for awards. Rounds will feature a central clock and drop-dead timing. Stay tuned for the complete tournament rules.
How much: The tournament entry fee, payable below, is $15; $10 for students. Paid-up Weasels get a $5 discount. The CODCon convention charges an additional $5 for a one-day pass and $7 for two days. You can save a dollar on the convention fee by preregistering at www.codcon.com.

If you plan to attend but don’t want to pay just yet, let us know at warweasel@windycityweasels.org and we’ll add you to the list.

Who: As players confirm, we’ll maintain a list of attendees. Stay tuned.
Awards: Players will compete for plaques for first through third place and Best Country plaques.

Saturday, April 8
Round 1
Registration: 9 to 9:30 a.m.
Board Call: 9:45 a.m.
 
Round 2
Registration: 4:45 to 5:15 p.m.
Board Call: 5:30 p.m.
 
Sunday, April 9
Round 3
Registration: 9 to 9:30 a.m.
Board Call: 9:45 a.m.
 
Tournament will end by 3 p.m. with a  brief awards ceremony following conclusion.
