The Parade of Tributes

The attendee list for the World Diplomacy Championship at Weasel Moot X is impressive (and growing). It includes world champions, North American champions, Grand Prix champions, Weasel Moot champions, winners of numerous other tournaments, and lots of people who have a chance to win this year’s world championship. In fact, the only players who don’t have a shot are the ones who aren’t on the list.

The following players have told me they’re coming. To add your name, comment below or send me an email at jimthegrey1013@yahoo.com.

An asterisk indicates that the player has saved money by preregistering, which you can do here.
Ian will be there as well
I misread this the first couple of times I saw it and thought you were just confirming what was already listed–that you’d be attending. But now I finally see what it actually says. Awesome.

Meanwhile, we’re closing in on a ninth board. For those interested, the current list contains two players from the U.K., one from the Netherlands, two from New Zealand, three from Australia, and three from Canada.

And from the States, in addition to Illinois, the following states are represented: California, Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

Neither list includes the mystery guests, whose points of origin will remain unknown for now.

We’re up to eight guys named Chris or Christian!
