Here’s the latest news from the Weasels.
Must-See Diplomacy
Our first week-night house game last Thursday at Peter Lokken’s home in Logan Square was a rousing success featuring two more new faces. That makes eight so far this season after only 21 new recruits all of last year. Check out the game summary and reaction from the board-topper.
Who’s in?
We have seven for our first Red Wednesday game at the Red Lion this Wednesday, but two are first-timers from the Chicago Game Lovers Meetup group. We’re only batting around .500 with sign-ups from that group, so we could use two more in case one or both doesn’t show. You will play for sure if you sign up. Who’s in?
New Issues
The latest issue of Diplomacy World hit the web last week, and episode 31 of DiplomacyCast is on the podwaves. Check them out.

Important Dates
- November 1: The Weasel Royale and Undercard Game at Dan Burgess’ home in Downers Grove.
- Remember, the second Wednesday of every month is Red Wednesday at the Red Lion. These games are scheduled through 2015 and will always start at 6:30 p.m. and go until no later than 11, so get ’em on your calendar.
Dues
Finally, a big Weasel thank you to the 29 people who paid club dues for 2014. Their support makes so much of what we do possible: The Meetup site, the website, our annual club awards, and the awards for the Royale. Thanks, Guys!
That’s all for this week.
