Last Hurrah?
We were hoping to get a tune-up in for Prime Weasel Nate Cockerill before sending him on his merry way to the World Diplomacy Championship at DixieCon in Chapel Hill, but we need three more players to make that happen. Who’s up for an evening of Dip and Drinks at the Red Lion on Wednesday? If I weren’t about to leave my family for four days, I’d gladly play.
#DixieOrBust
Speaking of WDC, a carload of us will be embarking Thursday night on the long odyssey to Chapel Hill. If we don’t kill ourselves or each other, we should arrive in time for breakfast at Ye Olde Waffle Shoppe on Franklin Street. Follow our exploits on Twitter using #DixieOrBust. All four of us (me, Nate Cockerill, John Gramila and Dan Burgess) will be Tweeting.
In addition to pursuing the world championship title, we’re present the Weasels’ bid to host the 2016 WDC. Click here to see our bid.
Running with the Bull Weasel
Josh Heffernan will host a game at his place in Logan Square on June 21, starting at Noon. Note the Hipster-friendly start time.
Join us for Weasel Moot
Two rounds on Saturday, July 26, one on Sunday the 27th. We’re planning an outing for Friday night the 25th, possibly to the Blue Frog’s Local 22 karaoke bar, which is right by the Hampton Inn. Should be a fun time.
Check out the site and go ahead and preregister. You’ll save $5.

Dues
Dues are due. Check out the Prime’s message, then use the convenient PayPal link to pay your 2014 dues. We’re once again charging $25, $10 if you’re a student. Twenty people have paid up already.
Remember, your dues pay for our website, the Meetup site, our annual club awards, and the awards for both the Royale and the Brawl, among other things.
That’s all for this week. Wish us luck at Dixie.
Jim
