The Weasels need you!

The Weasels is your Diplomacy club, and the club needs your support to thrive. We hope you’ll play in a game or two this year. We’re certainly trying to offer a lot of opportunities. You can always find game openings right here at the website or on Meetup.

And we’re always looking for hosts. Maybe it will be easier for you to make a game if it’s in your family room on your schedule. If you’re interested in hosting, let me know. You can email the Sneak at wcwsneak@gmail.com.

We also have some longtime, dedicated members who don’t play in league games quite as often as they’d like but we can always count on them to support our two tournaments, the CODCon Open and Weasel Moot. That’s important too because strong local turnout helps to attract traveling players and keeps our events in the mix for future DipCons and World DipCons. I think we all enjoyed having WDC here in 2012. If we want to do something like that again, then we need to consistently demonstrate to the greater hobby that we have a strong local base.

Regardless of whether you’re a part-time player or one of our battle-hardened regulars, an occasional host or a bar-game brawler, a grey-haired Weasel or a bright-eyed kit, we hope you enjoy our club. And if you do, please consider supporting us by paying dues.

Dues once again will be $25 this year, $10 if you’re a student, regardless of age. Dues pay for this website, the Meetup site, our annual club awards, and the awards for both the Royale and the Brawl, among other things. They’re completely voluntary and, we think, worth every penny. Please use the PayPal link below right now to pay your dues, or give the money to a Sneak member next time you see one. You will find a list of paid-up 2014 members right here. And for a list of Sneak members, click here.

Thanks for your support!
