A Brawl of two

The 2014 Bar Room Brawl Series is starting to look more like a duel than a rumble.

After sharing the board top last month in the sixth game of the series, Matt Sundstrom closed to within 14 points of Prime Weasel Nate Cockerill, who has led the field since soloing in the first game back in September. Sundstrom followed up with a large board top Saturday at the Red Lion. Beefy also scored big in that game, however, and nearly doubled his lead, winning the war while losing the battle.

Through seven games in the series, Cockerill now has 156.6 points to Sundstrom’s 131. Far behind them with 50.7 points is the People’s Champion, Josh Heffernan.

Check out the complete standings here. A total of 22 players have participated in the seven games.
