Join us for the 2014 CODCon Open!

When: April 5-6, 2014
Where: College of Dupage’s Student Resource Center, 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. (We’ll be in room SRC 1004, which is downstairs where the old student lounge used to be.)
What: A three-round Sum of Squares Diplomacy tournament. Best two rounds count for score. It only takes one round to be eligible for awards. Rounds will feature a central clock and drop-dead timing. For the complete tournament rules, click here.
How much: The entry fee is $15; $10 for students. Paid-up Weasels get a $5 discount. The CODCon convention charges an additional $5 for a one-day pass and $7 for two days. You can save a dollar on the convention fee by preregistering at www.codcon.com.
Who: Roll call of confirmed attendees to date.
Awards: Players will compete for plaques for first through third place and Best Country plaques. We’ll also have prizes for fourth through seventh place.
 
Schedule:
Saturday, April 5
Round 1
Registration: 9 to 9:30 a.m.
Board Call: 9:45 a.m.
 
Round 2
Registration: 5:15 to 5:45 p.m.
Board Call: 6 p.m.
 
Hard ending Saturday of midnight.
 
Sunday, April 6
Round 3
Registration: 9 to 9:30 a.m.
Board Call: 9:45 a.m.
 
Tournament ends at a predetermined time between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. with brief awards ceremony following conclusion.
