The Weekly Weasel — Week of Sept. 30

Here’s the latest news from the Weasels.

Brawl Opener a Knockout for Cockerill
It may be lights out for the competition after just one game in the 2014 Bar Room Brawl Series. Beefy Nate Cockerill landed a knockout punch with the club’s first ever Bar Game Solo. Click here for photographic evidence, the supply center chart, and the stunned reaction of one of the players. Legends do exist. Nate both proved that and is proof of that.

The Beat(ing) Goes on
The second game in the Bar Room Brawl Series will be Oct. 16 at Guthrie’s Tavern. Only two spots remain on the first board. Come on out for an evening of Dip & Drinks at the joint that started it all.

Upcoming Games

  • Oct. 16 at Guthrie’s Tavern, starting at 6:30 p.m. until no later than 11. Have five.
  • Oct. 26, the Undercard game at the Weasel Royale, starting at 11 a.m. Have four (or five, if we force Dan to play).

Sign up for games here, on Meetup, or by emailing your faithful War Weasel (which is Nate Cockerill, nathancockerill @yahoo.com for the time being).

Important Dates

  • Oct. 11-13: Tempest in a Teapot hosts the North American Diplomacy Championship, Silver Spring, Maryland. (More info at http://ptks.org/.)
  • Oct. 26: The 2013 Weasel Royale club championship and the Fifth Annual Undercard Game.

Just Dues It

Your dues help pay for our annual club awards, the Meetup site, our website, and other club activities. Help us out by paying your dues today.  Use the PayPal link online or give your dues to a Sneak member.

That’s all for this week.
