We’ve updated the standings in our inaugural Bar Room Brawl series through last week’s game. Each player’s best three bar games count for score. At the end of the series, the top seven finishers, regardless of membership status, will duke it out in a championship game at the Red Lion.
Diplomacy Night
When I was a kid, Wednesday was Prince Spaghetti Day. Remember those commercials? These days, Wednesday is Diplomacy Night. We’re following up last week’s game with a hybrid bar/house game at my place in Little Italy this Wednesday and another tilt at the Red Lion next Wednesday. The game at my house is in honor of special guest Alex Amann, who will be in town for a long weekend.
Weasel Moot VII
Weasel Moot is only 46 days away. The dates are June 22-23, and we’ll be playing at the Holiday Inn in west suburban Willowbrook. Preregistration is now open and will save you $5, $2 if you’re a student. You can preregister through PayPal via a link and find more information here, and participate in general kibitzing on Facebook.
Dues Are Due
Your 2013 membership dues are now due. Once again, we’re charging $25 for the calendar year, $10 for students. Paid-up members receive a discount at Weasel Moot, get first crack at all our game openings, and are eligible for our annual Weasels club awards and to compete in the Weasel Royale club championship game.
