Let’s Get Ready to Rumble!
This season, we’re introducing a new series to our league play. In addition to counting as regular club games, bar games will now count toward the new Barroom Brawl series, as well. Using our standard Sum of Squares scoring system, we’ll track each player’s best three bar games. At the end of the season, we’ll invite the top seven Brawlers to compete in a championship game, which, of course, will be a time-limited, week-night bar game. Click here for more details.

Need Three for Wednesday’s Game at the Red Lion
Don’t wait to get into the Brawl. We need three more for Wednesday’s game at the Red Lion. It starts at 7 p.m. and will end no later than than 11:30.

We’ve opened two additional bar games. Join us Oct. 10 at Guthrie’s Tavern in Wrigleyville, starting at 6:45 p.m. until no later than 11, or Nov. 1 at the Village Inn in Skokie, starting at 7 p.m. until no later than 11:30.

The Fifth Sneak finally met Friday night at my home in Little Italy to form its government for the year. Click here to see the new slate of officers.
Game Openings
- Sept. 26 at the Red Lion, beginning at 7 p.m. until no later than 11:30. Need three for the first board.
- Oct. 6 at Conception at the College of Dupage in Glen Ellyn, standard Diplomacy for beginners and vets beginning at Noon. Need at least six more.
- Oct. 7 at Conception at the College of Dupage in Glen Ellyn, Colonial Diplomacy beginning at Noon. Need at least five more.
- Oct. 10 at Guthrie’s Tavern in Wrigleyville, beginning at 6:45 p.m. until no later than 11. Need six for the first board.
- Oct. 13 at Jim O’Kelley’s home in Little Italy, beginning at 11. Need one more for the first board.
- Oct. 27 at Dan Burgess’ home in Downers Grove, the Undercard game, beginning at 11 a.m. Need four.
- Nov. 1 at the Village Inn in Skokie, beginning at 7 p.m. until no later than 11:30. Need six for the first board.
