Now, all that time you spend in bars could finally earn you more than a perpetual hangover. For our Eighth Season, the Sneak is proud to introduce a new series within our regular league play called the Barroom Brawl.
Our bar games still will count as regular league games and will be reflected in the club standings. However, we’ll also track them separately as part of the Brawl series. We’ll use our standard Sum of Squares system to score the games, and each player’s best three bar games will count toward the Brawl standings.
At the end of the season, the top seven Brawlers will be invited to participate in the Barroom Brawl championship, which, of course, will be a time-limited weeknight bar game. One difference from our regular league is that non-members will be eligible to participate in the championship game. We will line up an appropriate award for the champion Brawler.
We will update the Brawl standings after each bar game and provide a link on the website. We look forward to seeing you at some bar games this season!
