1. Christopher Michael Davis

In the history of CODCON the defending champion has defended his title when he played in consecutive years. Granted that was Mike French in I and II, since he did not play in III when Matt Sundstrom won, who in turn did not play at IV. The question is can last year’s improbable winner repeat Mr. French’s success?

    How does signing up work?

  3. Jim O'Kelley

    Hi, Aash.

I don’t think we’ll offer preregistration for CODCon. We haven’t in the past. Toward the end of February, we’ll start our bugathon. For now, consider youself signed up!

  4. Jim O'Kelley

Wow. So it looks like Alex Maslow, currently of Alaska, will be joining us for the Open.

  5. Jim O'Kelley

Craig Reges, Eric Brown and Ted McClelland all have said they’re coming. We’re not doing preregistration for CODCon, but feel free to post here if you’re in.

More big news: Laurent Joly from Paris, the keeper of the World Diplomacy Database (eurodip.nuxit.net/php/rencontre/index.php), is thinking about joining us for CODCon. Laurent aattended our first CODCon Open back in 2007 and has also attended our season-ending Weasel Pyle in the past.

  7. Jim O'Kelley

Laurent purchased his tix, so he’s definitely in.

  8. Jim O'Kelley

Mike French is planning on coming, as well.

  9. Mark Weiskircher

I am coming as well. I am also planning on having my son (who is 17) come along at least on Saturday morning to play in the first round.
