Sundstrom tops balanced holiday board

Reigning Weasel of the Year Matt Sundstrom topped Game No. 119, played last night at Guthrie’s Tavern. Our annual holiday game at Guthrie’s ended by time limit after the Fall 1908 turn in the following center counts:

Austria (Nate Cockerill): 3; 4.369 points.
England (Pete McNamara): 5; 12.136 points.
France (Matt Sundstrom): 8; 31.068 points.
Germany (Christopher M. Davis): 6; 17.476 points.
Italy (Christian MacDonald): 6; 17.476 points.
Russia (Peter Lokken): 0; 0.000 points.
Turkey (Aash Anand): 6; 17.476 points.

The supply center chart is here. Hopefully the players will fill in the gaps.

Next up, we’ll return to Guthrie’s on the 29th for more Dip and Drinks, followed by a rare Thursday night house game at Dan Burgess’ home in Downers Grove on the 30th. Standbys welcome for both games!

Interesting that my score for the 8-center France in this game was better than my 10-center Austria in an earlier game. The balance between the other players scores made that possible.
