Game Opening: Armistice at Guthrie’s

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, the guns of Europe fell silent and World War I came to an end. At 11 p.m. this Wednesday night, we’ll commemorate that moment by dropping our pens to end a Diplomacy game at Guthrie’s Tavern. Originally scheduled for Chicagoland Games, we changed venues to take advantage of the holiday on Thursday.

This game is now full…and since several of us have Thursday off for Veterans Day, we’ve decided to move it to Guthrie’s. Recruit this. 8)
