Sometime tomorrow, Peter Yeargin will leave O’Hare en route to the Hague. No, he’s not going there to answer for war crimes, although the way he’s played Diplomacy with us the past 19 months, he probably should be. He’s actually going there to compete in the World Diplomacy Championship this weekend.
And also to present our bid to host the 2012 WDC right here in Chicago at Weasel Moot VI. Please join me in wishing him luck in both endeavors.
After the WDC, Peter will work his way to Paris for the European Diplomacy Championship the following weekend. If he decides to tweet from Europe, we’ll set up a newsfeed here at windycityweasels.org.
