Game 90 is set for 11 a.m. tomorrow at Gary Przybocki’s home in Montgomery. It will feature the following players:
- Amanda Baumgartner
- Bob Kramford
- Gary Przybocki
- Jim O’Kelley
- Michael Schoose
- Peter Yeargin
- Thom Comstock
If anyone gets injured or is unable to perform the duties of a head of state, then Bert Schoose will be waiting in the wings.
Following the game, watch for endgame statements. Also, as this will be another landmark game on our march to 100, watch for another classic game report from yesteryear.
Next Up: March Madness!
- The March 6 game in Oak Brook is full.
- The March 13 game in Downers Grove has five spots available.
- The March 20 event in Oak Park has one full board. We’re now looking for seven more players for a second board.
Sign up for a March game today! It’s your last chance to work the rust off before the fourth annual CODCon Open, April 10-11 at the College of Dupage in Glen Ellyn.

Thanks to Bert!
I was ill Wed, Thursday, and Friday . . .saw the doctor Friday. Lots of meds, and accurate Mapquest leads to a wrong turn . . .
I showed up about an hour late though texted such to start without me if they could.
Bert was there, and it only seemed right to let him finish.
I enjoyed sitting in the wings and kibitzing (and I did stop at the end of the game when Peter asked) . . . though the kibitzing was going nowhere with Gary.
It was fun, and funny. Gary had quite a few “quips” perhaps he will add them here.
But, as a reminder to all who would play Diplomacy . . . you aren’t out of the game until your last piece is gone . . . and part of the game –sometimes– is making it as hard for the other powers even if they are working together to figure out how to knock your last piece out if that is what they want.
Never surrender, but die freely.
