Scoring

Weasel Moot XIV will be played using the Tribute scoring system. This will be the first North American Diplomacy Federation (NADF) tournament to use this scoring system. The incentives in Tribute scoring can be summarized as “top the board if possible, with as many supply centers as possible, otherwise survive and keep the board-topper as small as possible.”

Frequently Asked Questions

No! If you can’t play in one of the qualifying games, that is completely okay. Just let us know which weekend you are able to play!

Yes! Both qualifying games count for score so it may be more difficult, but as long as one qualifying game score is high enough to place you in the top 7, you will be allowed to play in the championship game. All qualifying games count towards awards such as best country awards so don’t be afraid to sign up if you can’t play both weekends!

The players with the 7 highest combined scores from the qualifying rounds will be invited to play in the championship game. If one of these players is unable to play, the player with the next highest score will be invited to participate. This process will continue until the championship board is filled.

The sooner you can let us know the better as it makes it easier to plan. That being said, we want to be flexible. If you are unexpectedly able to play all the way up to the time that board call starts, just reach out to us on Discord and we’ll see if we can fit you in. We can’t promise you a game, but we’ll do our best.
