Our Diplomacy league is the most active in North America. We average more than two league games per month in addition to Tournament play. We score all of our games using the Sum of Squares scoring system, and each player's best three scores count toward the season standings. We are known for our fierce competition, strong traditions, upstanding character and trustworthiness, and the propensity for Turkey to open to Armenia.
Times Turkey Opened to Armenia
Saturday is International Games Day, and the Harold Washington Library is holding a game day to celebrate from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sounds like a good opportunity to play games, promote the Weasels, and perhaps field a board.
The next Red Wednesday will be on December 9. Please note that the third annual Bar Room Brawl Championship Game will also take place that night, and several of the regulars will be playing in that. That means we need a really good turnout to make this game happen.
Come on out. This will be a great opportunity to play in a game where the sharks are otherwise occupied. Be the Shark!
Join us for a festive Red Wednesday on December 14 at the Red Lion. Perhaps we'll choose powers via the White Elephant method...
Can we get two more boards for our November session at the Red Lion?
We had two boards for Opening Night of the 2017 Bar Room Brawl Series. Can we do it again in October?
No pogroms or arranged marriages. Just a good game of Diplomacy on a rooftop in Chicago's swanky New East Side neighborhood. Plus football.
Join Bryan Pravel for a game of Diplomacy at his River North penthouse apartment.
Our ninth annual Weasel Royale club championship game will be October 16 at Dan Burgess' home in Downers Grove. We'll once again field an Undercard game, which will count as a regular league game. Last year's shared board-toppers in the Undercard both went on to qualify for this year's Royale, so it's a great opportunity to steal a march while the heavyweights duke it out in the Royale. Plus, it's hella fun. Who's in?
