Our Diplomacy league is the most active in North America. We average more than two league games per month in addition to Tournament play. We score all of our games using the Sum of Squares scoring system, and each player's best three scores count toward the season standings. We are known for our fierce competition, strong traditions, upstanding character and trustworthiness, and the propensity for Turkey to open to Armenia.
Due to a family emergency, we're postponing the 2018 Weasel Royale Club Championship Game and Undercard to a Sunday to be determined in 2019. (Yes, we know that will present a naming challenge. But calendars are a social construct.) When the Royale happens, the players, in seed order, will be:
Help break in Brian Shelden's apartment and the new season of Windy City Weasels Diplomacy with a rare Friday evening game of Diplomacy.
A new Bar Room Brawl series will kick off next month at the Red Lion in Lincoln Square. Join us September 14 for the first Red Wednesday of Season 12!

Our club's happiest tradition returns for an 11th installment. Join us for the season-ending Weasel Pyle at Castle Brown in bucolic Wayne. The exact address will be provided to attendees.
We expect at least three boards of Diplomacy. Plus we'll present our season awards, announce the Weasel Royale club championship bids, elect the Ninth Sneak, and strike the Regimental Choir. Don't miss it!
March Madness is back for a seventh year as the Windy City Weasels renews its annual campaign to return the month of March to its original pastime: Backstabbing. Take a look at these game openings, check your calendar, and sign up. Check back often, as we'll add news games here as they crop up. And consider bringing a friend to a game. We've welcomed 41 players to the Weasels during the past six March Madness campaigns.
Peter Lokken is recovering from brain surgery. Help him fight off the boredom by joining him for another game of Dip!
In a classic case of good news and bad news, Peter Lokken has some time on his hands and is hankering to host a game or two of Dip. We'l cue up the blocks for a rare Monday night game of Dip at his home in Logan Square. If this game fills quickly, we may open another one.
The 2016 Bar Room Brawl Series is in full swing. Join us October 14 at the Red Lion for Red Wednesday!
Last year, our game at the Chess Pavilion was scuttled by the early arrival of my daughter, Jane. Let's try again for Labor Day Weekend. Who's in?
If 10 years of Windy City Weasels Diplomacy has taught you anything, it's that tradition matters to us.
This fall, we'll renew the tradition of fielding a league game during the Weasel Royale club championship game. In past years, this Undercard Game has launched many a successful Royale bid for the following year, so if your campaign fell short this year, think about playing in the Undercard to give yourself a leg up on next year's competition.
Are you ready for some Diplomacy? And some football? New Weasel Brian Beck will host the first house game of Season 11 at his home in Morton Grove on Sunday, September 13. The Packers game will be on in every room. Fans of the other team are welcome, too! Brian will be grilling, too, so expect football fare.
The 11th season of Windy City Weasels Diplomacy will kick off with a Red Wednesday at the Red Lion on September 9. Help us get our WDC year off to a great start by coming out for an evening of Dip and Drinks!
On July 25, we're going to try something new for our club. We're going to host concurrent games of Diplomacy in two locations. Make you plans to join Dan Burgess in Downers Grove or Matt Sundstrom in Glenview for a day of Diplomacy.
