If the Cubs had a closer like Dan Burgess, maybe they wouldn't suck. Burgess took over England for Gary Przybocki in 1905. Przybocki had carved out a nice position, and Burgess romped with it to an 11-center board top. Of course, per our house rules, neither Przybocki nor Burgess scored points for the game, which ended in Spring 1909 with the following center counts:

Austria (Mark Weiskircher): 0; 0.000 points.
England (Gary Przybocki/Dan Burgess): 11; 0.000 points.
France (Nathan Kos): 8; 21.918 points.
Germany (Tony Prokes): 0; 0.000 points.
Italy (Matt Sundstrom): 5; 8.562 points.
Russia (Mike Morrison): 1; 0.342 points.
Turkey (Kyle Weiskircher): 9; 27.740 points.

The supply center chart is here. One game now remains before the season-ending Weasel Pyle on Aug. 13 at Eric Brown's home in Wayne. Reserve your seat at either or both events now!

After further thought, I think I'd describe the hybrid as more unholy than evil.
