Our Diplomacy league is the most active in North America. We average more than two league games per month in addition to Tournament play. We score all of our games using the Sum of Squares scoring system, and each player's best three scores count toward the season standings. We are known for our fierce competition, strong traditions, upstanding character and trustworthiness, and the propensity for Turkey to open to Armenia.

Weasels to host fifth annual Open at CODCon

At last night's meeting, the Sneak decided to return to the CODCon gaming convention to host our fifth annual CODCon Open Diplomacy tournament. The event will be held April 16 and 17. Dan Burgess will serve as the Tournament Director. Here's the preliminary schedule:

Saturday, April 16
Round 1
Registration: 9 to 9:30 a.m.
Board Call: 9:45 a.m.
Round 2
Registration: 5:15 to 5:45 p.m.
Board Call: 6 p.m.
Sunday, April 17
Round 3
Registration: 9 to 9:30 a.m.
Board Call: 9:45 a.m.

Tournament ends at a predetermined time between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. with brief awards ceremony following conclusion.

In addition, we plan to hold a teaching round from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday night, April 15.

Like the previous Opens, the event will be held at the Student Resource Center on the College of Dupage campus. Circle the dates on your calendar and watch the site for more information!
