facts about us

#Season 14

Our Diplomacy league is the most active in North America. We average more than two league games per month in addition to Tournament play. We score all of our games using the Sum of Squares scoring system, and each player's best three scores count toward the season standings. We are known for our fierce competition, strong traditions, upstanding character and trustworthiness, and the propensity for Turkey to open to Armenia.

The past two nights, the Weasels played our 37th and 38th games of 2010. Nate Cockerill topped Game No. 120, played Dec. 29 at Guthrie's Tavern, with a 15-center Russia. Witches Todd Woodman (England) and Peter Lokken (Turkey) shared the top in Game No. 121 with nine centers apiece. That game was played at Dan Burgess' home on Dec. 30.

All told, we played five games in December and have now played 13 in Season 6. We'll post the game summaries and update the club standings tomorrow. Stay tuned...
