MARTIN, KLINE STRIKE IN BOWLING ALLEY

Headlines like that are worth the wait, folks. Chicago’s finest diplomacy hobby had a wonderful outing last weekend at Diversey Bowl, again hosting two boards. Out-of-towner Chris Martin topped one with a 48 point Russian performance, taking over this year’s Top Czar score and deeply disappointing your writer. On the other board, Christian Kline eeked out a 7-6-6 split as France, earning his second top this year. Recaps are starting to come in, read all about it here.

We’re back at Red Lion for a game next Wednesday… and we’re on a two board hot streak! Check what it’s brawl about here.

SPEAKING OF BOWLING…

Weasel Moot (#themootabides) will be at Diversey bowl this year! Don’t give em the ringer, dude, sign up here.

WISE OLD WEASEL ENJOYS AUSTRIAN COUNTRYSIDE; STILL DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO PLAY RUSSIA

The Wise Old Weasel: Austria posted yesterday with the Sound of Music. Drop your strategic insights into one of the game’s most difficult countries here.

The Wise Old Weasel: Russia has a few comments thus far, but fewer than WOW past. Let’s keep those comments rolling in here. Maybe Chris Martin can swing by and give some motherly motherland advice. Reminder: these are being cross-posted and discussed on Reddit and other social platforms. We here at The Weekly Weasel have a whole strategic content strategy here, folks.

Drop your Czarinsights here.

WORLD’S MOST MAJOR “MINOR” DIPLOMACY TOURNAMENT COMING FAST

CODCON, the Indian Wells of Diplomacy, as tennis-reference-catching Weasels know it, begins April 8. There will be more content on here as we get closer to the tournament, but sign up now, because YOU could be the next Diplomacy Champion of Chicago Dupage County.

Clearly, you lack puppy empathy. You hit read more. You know what I’m going to tell you. Some sob story about how excited you were to have your bestest friend forever and ever and then they were suddenly struck by some dramatic event that left them dead because you didn’t pay dues.

Now comes the part where I ask you to save the puppies by paying your dues. But you know what, don’t do it for the puppies. Don’t do it for me. Hell, don’t even do it for you. Do it because of how much you hate those old ASPCA commercials. Gosh, those were brutal, weren’t they?

I will remember you…. Will you remember your dues?

Catch in a week (relatively), Weasels.
